Violet was a Fradley resident who died in 2013, at the age of just 5. She had an extremely rare blood disorder called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) and died within weeks of falling ill with cold symptoms. Her parents Kerry and Ivan Mornington set up a charity called ‘Violets in Bloom’ and not only built a memorial garden at Lichfield & District Crematorium in Fradley, but went on to help others who have lose children and helped raise awareness of blood disorders.
