DETAILS OF ACCIDENT
On the night of the 16th-17th of September 1942, Wellington 1C N2782 took off
from RAF Lichfield at 19.49, in another 1,000-bomber raid. This time the target
was Essen. All crew members were killed and all are buried in Rheinbergh War
Cemetery in Germany
